TUSCAN CONSORTIUM OF MARINAS: A STRATEGIC UNION FOR A GREATER INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS
The Tuscan Consortium of Marinas aims to promote and encourage collaboration between Tuscan ports to improve their strength and competitiveness both at national and international level, focusing on an innovative and integrated tourism, on the digitalization of ports and services of exellence for the best management and customer satisfaction.
Therefore, the Consortium intends to promote “Toscana” brand as part of a strategic plan for the growth of the region’s coastal economy.
Objectives
The Tuscan Consortium of Marinas, in the general framework of innovation and promotion of the regional ports, proposes to:
- Promote and get recognition, both at a national and international level, for the skills acquired by the consortium members in the field of marinas management.
- Provide consortium members with a program of training activities, meetings and workshops, promoting the culture of cooperation, professionalism and technological innovation.
- Deal with goods and services’ suppliers, pursuing the interest of the consortium members, to obtain the best contractual conditions and enabling them to benefit from the economies of scale.
- Study and promote shared programs, also in partnership with other organizations, for the promotion of products and services offered by consortium members.
